Whenever I have time, I spend it learning new things through courses, tutorials or online classes. This is a good way to gouge my interest in things, even outside of my professional engagements.
During a technical assessment in June 2024 I came to realize that Ruby and Ruby on Rails is actually quite fun to work with. So that is when my interest in Ruby and RoR started.
At the moment, I am spending a lot of time getting more knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs and GenAI because the topic interests me very deeply. This doesn't mean that I am stepping away from web & app development. But rather, gaining an edge on implementation of AI within web and application development.
